Florida State junior Mirabel Ting has been announced as the winner of the most prestigious award in women’s college golf, taking home the 2025 Annika Award.
Ting won five times in nine stroke play starts while playing alongside fellow Florida State superstar Lottie Woad. She finished outside of the top five individually only once in sixth place.
This week she finished runner-up to Maria Jose Marin in the NCAA Division I National Championship, shooting -10 and leading Florida State to the match play portion of the event. The Seminoles were eliminated in the semifinals by the juggernaut Stanford Cardinal.
Ting is the first Asian-born player to win the award, being a native of Malaysia. She is also the first player from Florida State to win. Other prominent winners of the award include LPGA Tour players Ingrid Lindblad, Rose Zhang, Alison Lee, Maria Fassi, Leona Maguire and Bronte Law.
The Annika Award was first established in 2014, and named after the legendary Annika Sörenstam, who played her golf at Arizona.
