WTGL, the women’s edition of the TGL (TMRW Golf League) has made two new additions to their inaugural season roster, and they are big ones.
LPGA superstars Rose Zhang and Lottie Woad join Jeeno Thitikul, Brooke Henderson, Lexi Thompson, Lydia Ko and Charley Hull as the first seven players to join the new women’s golf league.
TGL combines simulator based full swing shots with an innovative green complex to evolve the game of golf. Players are divided into teams and are mic’d up in these matches, which are broadcast on ESPN. The men’s version of the league is in its second year.
Rose Zhang is arguably the greatest amateur in women’s golf history, winning two individual Division 1 National Championships at Stanford, the U.S Women’s Amateur, the U.S. Girls’ Junior and the Augusta National Women’s Amateur. In her three seasons on the LPGA Tour, Zhang has two wins, an appearance on the USA Olympic Team, three top-10 finishes in majors and a 4-2-1 record in the Solheim Cup across two appearances.
Woad is herself a rising star in the world of women’s golf. Woad was a fantastic player at Florida State, winning the Annika Intercollegiate, and won the 2024 Augusta National Women’s Amateur. She qualified for the LPGA Tour through its LEAP program and has two professional wins, the Irish Open and Scottish Open, both in 2025. She has three top-10 finishes in majors, and three career finishes as the low amateur in majors.
Both Zhang and Woad won their first LPGA Tour event as members.
