The newest edition of the Rolex Rankings are out, and with the United States Solheim Cup team getting locked in next week, these are some of the most important of the year:
- Nelly Korda remains ranked No. 1 despite not being in action last week in Portland. This is Korda’s 125th career week at No. 1, which ties her with Lydia Ko for third most all time behind Jin Young Ko and Lorena Ochoa.
- Jeeno Thitikul also remained at No. 2, but bit into Korda’s huge lead after her 10th career win. There was no overall movement in the top 10.
- The race for the final Solheim Cup spot got very interesting, as Alison Lee jumped ahead of Lindy Duncan to get into the ninth and final position for now. Lee moved up two spots to 59, while Duncan moved down two spots to 61.
- Rose Zhang put herself even more in the mix after a fantastic finish in Portland. She moved up seven slots to 66. She is dealing with some injury issues, but now that she is in good position, she should be an easy pick for the team assuming health.
- In non-Solheim Cup news, Chanettee Wannasaen moved up 15 spots to No. 62 in the world.
- Arpichaya Yubol entered the top 100 at No. 88, moving up 24 slots. This was Yubol’s third runner-up finish of the season.
- After her win on the JLPGA Tour, Yuka Yasuda made a huge move up the standings to No. 125 in the world, it was a movement of 45 spots.
