Session 4 of the 2026 Curtis Cup is about to kick off, here are our predictions for each match
3:00 – Charlotte Naughton and Davina Xanh vs Anna Davis and Asterisk Talley
While Anna Davis’ record may not be overly impressive this week at 1-2, her play has been better than it shows. Meghan Stasi made, in my opinion, the correct decision to rest Kiara Romero in this session and get her some rest, breaking up the solid Talley and Romero duo. Neither Naughton or Xanh played in the morning, so they should be fresh, and fatigue plagued Talley’s group yesterday afternoon. That being said, neither have been particularly strong this week. I’m taking Talley and Davis fairly easily here.
Prediction – United States full point
3:11 – Sophia Fullbrook and Patience Rhodes vs Kary Hollenbaugh and Kelly Xu
Anytime Xu is playing match play, she needs to be taken seriously. That being said, she is playing alongside Hollenbaugh, who is playing for the first time this week against easily the strongest team from GB&I in Fullbrook and Rhodes. That duo has gone 2-1 and have looked impressive for the entire two days. Hollenbaugh and Xu should have the advantage when it comes to rest, but GB&I has leaned on this duo all week, and should feel comfortable doing so again.
Prediction – GB&I full Point
3:22 – Beth Coulter and Isla McDonald-O’Brien vs Farah O’Keefe and Avery Weed
This ASU duo of Coulter and McDonald-O’Brien has been pretty solid, pushing their early match to the 18th hole. McDonald-O’Brien can absolutely crush it and Coulter is one of the most composed players on this team. But, it is so hard to pick against Farrah O’Keefe right now. Despite Weed having a bit of a weak morning, I love how much O’Keefe has elevated not just her own game, but her partner’s as well.
Prediction – United States full point
