At the 2025 LPGA Legends Championship, held at Copper Rock in Utah, two-time major champion Cristie Kerr came out on top in difficult conditions.
Kerr shot -2 on the final day to get to -6 for the tournament and defeat fellow American Moira Dunn-Bohls by two strokes.
The victory is the first win for Kerr since she won twice on the LPGA Tour in 2017, snapping an eight-year non-winning streak. And it came on her husband’s 60th birthday as a nice bonus.
Kerr has been looking to round into form lately especially coming into this event, which she said is why she played in the Carlisle Arizona Women’s Golf Championship on the Epson Tour. Notching a top-10 finish there helped get her back into the competitive mindset and gave her some confidence moving forward.
This is Kerr’s first win on the LPGA Legends Tour, added to her 20 LPGA Tour victories. It is also her first major championship win since 2010 on any tour.
Kerr clearly likes the course, as she finished runner up to Angela Stanford last year in this event. She backed that performance up superbly in 2025.
