The Solheim Cup teams are all set with the finalization of the American team Monday. Over the next two weeks leading into the competition, we will rank all 24 players in the Solheim Cup for both teams, starting today with Nastasia Nadaud:
Nastasia Nadaud from France is one of four Solheim Cup rookies for Team Europe and is the youngest player on either team at just 21-years-old.
Nadaud joined the Ladies European Tour in 2023, but really broke onto the scene for American fans at the 2025 Amundi Evian Championship. Playing in front of a home crowd, she was paired with major champion superstars Nelly Korda and Minjee Lee, and performed well, notching her first top 25 finish in a major. She repeated that feat in 2026.
Nadaud won for the first time on the LET in dominant fashion in November, winning by four strokes in Spain. She also qualified for the LPGA Tour through the Q-Series.
Throughout the LPGA Tour, despite a lack of high finishes, Nadaud has been fairly consistent. She doesn’t have any top-10 results, but has made 13/17 cuts and has six top-30 finishes. She did miss the cut in her most recent start at the CPKC Women’s Open, but before that she made eight cuts in a row.
Nadaud’s best finish on Tour was against a strong field in Phoenix, where she finished 14th and shot -15. That was when she first entered the Solheim Cup conversation for a European Team looking for some new blood after its loss in 2024.
Nadaud is a well-rounded player, but excels off the tee. While she may not look like it, she is one of the longer hitters on this European squad, ranking No. 15 in driving distance on the LPGA Tour while still hitting 68% of fairways. She ranks No. 7 on Tour in strokes gained off the tee.
With the pick of Nastasia Nadaud, Anna Nordqvist did what many wanted the United States to do, get some young blood in. Europe has had the same core for the last three playings, and needed some changes. Nadaud represents the future of Team Europe with a lot of upside. Nadaud likely won’t be asked to do much on this team, but it is a good chance to get some experience.
