It was a huge week in the women’s game worldwide as major stars were winning on multiple tours. Check out the results of some of the action here:
LPGA Tour
Ruoning Yin won the FM Championship against a major championship quality of field at TPC Boston. Yin entered the final round with a one-stroke lead and treaded water throughout her first 10 holes, making three birdies and three bogeys. Starting on 12, the leader at the time Sei Young Kim, made a double bogey followed by two consecutive bogeys to give Yin and Hyo Joo Kim an opening.
Yin followed the theme of the week down the stretch, which was not making mistakes. She had just two birdies, on the back nine par 5s, throughout the last eight holes, but didn’t drop a shot. While she only had a -2 70, it was still enough to win by two strokes.
This was Yin’s sixth LPGA Tour victory, her first this season. It was her seventh top-10 finish in 17 starts and now moves her to No. 6 in the Race to the CME Globe.
LET
On the Ladies European Tour, Casandra Alexander won for the second time in her career, the first this season, at the KPMG Women’s Irish Open.
While it was her first win of the year, do not be fooled, Alexander is a future LPGA Tour mainstay. The 27-year-old from South Africa is the top player on the LET’s Order of Merit thanks to five runner-up finishes on the season, and an additional four more top-10s. This win has been a long time coming.
For her career, Alexander has two top-10 finishes in major championships and is now ranked No. 31 in the Rolex Rankings.
Epson Tour
Speaking of future LPGA Tour stars, Mirabel Ting won for the second time on the Epson Tour at the Dream First Bank Charity Classic held in Kansas.
Ting, a former standout at Florida State and the winner of the 2025 Annika Award won by three strokes over Dorsey Addicks thanks to a final round 66.
Ting now leads the Race for the Card Standings and should officially clinch her LPGA Tour full status for 2027 soon.
