The United States Solheim Cup team will be finalized in just a couple of months. Here are the players we are predicting to make the team right now in order:
Nelly Korda – There isn’t much to say here, Korda is playing the best golf from an American probably in the 21st century. She will be the top ranked American at the time the team is finalized and probably the No. 1 player in the world.
Angel Yin – In the current Solheim Cup standings, Yin is securely in second for points, it would take a lot for her to fall that drastically. Yin hasn’t been spectacular this year, but she is consistently in the top 20, particularly as of late. Yin is the third highest ranked American in the world at No. 14 and would’ve likely been on the team last time around if not for injury issues.
Lauren Coughlin – Angela Stanford basically confirmed to the broadcast team at Shadow Creek that Lauren Coughlin will be on the Solheim Cup team once again. Coughlin is coming off her first missed cut of the season, but has played solid golf this year. She is the second highest ranked American in the world at No. 12 and played fantastic golf in this event last time around. She is also excellent at partner golf and alternate formats.
Megan Khang – Khang ranks this highly not because of her recent form or her high ranking, but because she is probably the most guaranteed captain’s selection outside of Korda (who will be on the team of course). That being said. Khang is starting to round into solid form, making 7/8 cuts this year and grabbing three top-35 finishes in a row, with a top-15 finish at Mizuho. Khang is a strong leader for the team and is a fantastic 7-3-3 in her Solheim Cup career.
Allisen Corpuz – After a rough start to the season, Corpuz is quietly playing really good golf. The 28-year-old from Hawaii has four top-15 finishes so far in 2026 and just had her highest finish in over a full year at the Mizuho Americas Open. The real reason she is here though is her fantastic Solheim Cup play. Corpuz has a 5-2-1 record in this event and a perfect 4-0-0 record alongside Korda.
Auston Kim – Though by pure age Auston Kim isn’t all that young, she is just two years younger than Nelly Korda, it is important for the United States to get some new blood on the roster. Kim got off to a blazing hot start that has her currently in fourth for Solheim Cup standings. Her recent play hasn’t been as strong, but it also isn’t anything to be concerned about at this point. Kim has so much power and natural talent, she would be very exciting to watch on this team.
Rose Zhang – Zhang’s promising start to the year has fizzled a bit recently, but I don’t think her play will be held against her too much when it comes to captain’s selections. Zhang was fantastic last time out, going 4-0-0, and now will be solely focused on golf with her studies now completed. Zhang, in all likelihood, will still be the youngest player on this team and has great experience.
Andrea Lee – There is reason to be concerned about Lee, usually one of the most consistent players in the world has had a tough last month on the course. Lee generally plays very well in the middle-late Summer and there’s no reason to not believe that will happen again. Lee hasn’t been spectacular in the Solheim Cup, but her floor generally feels like 1.5 points. She seems like someone who will never be bad in this event, and that is valuable.
Jennifer Kupcho – After her last two Solheim Cup outings, Kupcho likely has no chance at a captain’s pick. That being said, Kupcho is playing really great golf over the last three weeks with three consecutive top-15 finishes. Though she isn’t finishing well at the moment, I think the current form she is showing is sustainable. She is 3-5-2 in her career at Solheim, but she seems relatively likely to qualify for the team automatically.
Jenny Bae – Don’t look now, but Jenny Bae is playing some of the best golf in the world from any American right now. She’s showing a lot of confidence and has put out six top-30 finishes and two top-10s this season. She finished strong at Mizuho, ending up in third place. Bae is just 24-years-old and looks like she will be a strong player on the LPGA Tour moving forward.
Yealimi Noh – Noh built up a lot of Solheim Cup points with her great play in early 2025, but the boat is leaking water and is in danger of going down fast. Noh has missed four cuts in nine events in 2026 and has just one top 35 finish against a full field this year. In Noh’s last 20 rounds, she has just three rounds in the 60s. She did have a good head start, but it is time for her to start showing some solid form again.
Lindy Duncan – I think everyone in the sport wants to see Lindy Duncan make her Solheim Cup debut, but there needs to be good results alongside the selection. Duncan had some solid early results this year, with three top-15 finishes, but her game has sputtered as of late. Her last top-50 finish was in March and has eight consecutive rounds of 72 or higher. Look out for a player like Ryann O’Toole to take this spot.
