Full Swing, Netflix’s show about the lives of the PGA Tour’s biggest stars both on and off the golf course, will heavily feature an LPGA Tour star for the first time.
Two-time major champion Minjee Lee will be on season three of the hit show alongside her brother, PGA Tour star Min Woo Lee.
Min Woo has become a popular figure in recent years for his colorful and infectious personality. According to the PGA Tour, the segments on the Lee siblings will revolve around the Paris Olympics, where both represented their home country Australia.
Minjee spoke about her experience on the show at The Founders Cup last week:
“Yeah, I mean, there was a few times they came out, once to my place for a few interviews and I think they came out to Shadow Creek when we played the match play and my brother was following me around,” said Lee. “And also one other time at one of Min’s events, so got a little bit of everything, and I feel like I’m probably going to be the first LPGA player to feature in the Full Swing, so hopefully it opens the doors to other LPGA players getting on a few of the episodes.”
Minjee is the first LPGA star on the show, but she isn’t the first prominent name in women’s golf. Rachel Kuehn, who was a stand out and two-time ACC Player of the Year at Wake Forest, was featured in the episode about her partner Alex Fitzpatrick in season two.
The new season of Full Swing debuts in full on Feb. 25 on Netflix.
