Jeeno Thitikul, the No. 1 ranked player in the world, is officially the winner of the Rolex LPGA Tour Player of the Year Award.
In a season dominated by incredible parity, Thitikul was a consistent force on the Tour. In October, Thitikul was the first player to win twice in 2025, and she added a third win this past week at the CME Group Tour Championship.
This was all part of a dominant finish to the season for the 22-year-old star from Thailand. Starting in August, Thitikul’s worst result in her last six starts was T7. In that stretch she won twice and finished runner-up twice.
While it was an incredible season, the one thing still hanging over her head somewhat is her lack of a major championship. She was close though, losing the Amundi Evian Championship in a playoff and finishing T4 at the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship.
Thitikul made 20 starts in 2025, making 19 cuts and finishing in the top 10 a startling 14 times. Including wins, Thitikul finished in the top three on the leaderboard eight out of 20 times.
Thitikul also was the winner of the Vare Trophy for the second time, awarded to the player who leads the LPGA Tour in scoring average. In 2025, she didn’t just lead the current Tour, but she set the all-time record at 68.68.
This is the first LPGA Tour Player of the Year win for Thitikul, who now has seven wins on the LPGA Tour to go along with her five on the Ladies European Tour. It is her third season with multiple wins.
