Guest day and invitational season is officially in full swing, and March always seems to be the month when the golf calendar really heats up. Between member-guests, themed invitationals, and charity events, it feels like there’s always another tournament circled on the calendar.
I’ve played in three guest events over the past few weeks, and I still have three more to go! If you’re anything like me, you love the excuse to put together a fun look for the day.
The good news? You don’t have to break the bank buying perfectly matching outfits for every event. Half the fun is getting creative with what you already have. Mixing colors, adding playful accessories, and leaning into the theme can instantly elevate your guest day style without an entirely new wardrobe.
You can also never go wrong with Amazon when it comes to accessories and having enough pieces for everyone on the team. It’s such an easy way to pull together a fun look without spending a fortune.
For our “Swing with Bling” event, we picked up these cute tracksuits, shoes, and hats, all from Amazon. The entire look came together for less than $100. It looked coordinated, festive, and we didn’t have to stress about finding matching pieces.
Prior to that, we had a “Pretty in Pink” theme. Our friend Kirsten ordered white vests from Amazon and glued on heart patches using simple fabric glue. We added cute charms to our shoes and paired them with matching shirts, also from Amazon.
For our skirts, we used a company called Loveloveskirts.com, which was such a stellar find. What’s great about them is that they offer tons of fun, theme-based designs to choose from, and each item is custom made. That means skirt lengths for our taller friends are never an issue. For us shorter people, I know that custom lengths are something we all appreciate! This brand is a great resource for team play outfits as well.
March is the perfect time to get creative and have some fun with your guest day outfits. A little imagination, a few accessories, and a coordinated color theme can go a long way in creating a look that stands out on the course.
