Without any debate, Charley Hull is one of the biggest names on the LPGA Tour. Most everyone would agree she is one of the top three or four biggest crossover stars in the sport, but her results haven’t always lived up to her lofty star power. That could change in 2026.
Hull is coming off one of the more consistent years of her career. Though she didn’t play much, mostly dealing with some health and injury issues, she still made 14/16 cuts, finishing outside of the top 40 only twice, one of those being a medical withdraw.
Hull finished No. 14 in the CME Standings and had her third-career win in a thriller at the Queen City Championship, where she took advantage of costly mistakes by world No. 1 Jeeno Thitikul down the stretch to capture the title. She finished No. 4 in total strokes gained which included a return to form for her putter, which was a bit of a weakness in 2024.
The thing that is especially intriguing about Hull heading into 2026 is how she finished off the season. In the last five starts of her season, Hull finished in the top 20 in each of them with three top-five finishes, including a win and a runner-up finish at the AIG Women’s Open.
Everyone knows that Hull is one of the most powerful and aggressive players on the LPGA Tour, she finished No. 12 on the LPGA Tour in driving distance in 2025, but it isn’t just the power that Hull possesses that makes her so dangerous, it is the overall shot making. Despite ranking No. 38 in greens in regulation percentage, Hull was still top 10 in scoring average on Tour.
If Hull can continue improving her putting, she is one of the best all around players in the world, and it may finally be time for her to get the winning results that have sometimes alluded her.
